A few words on what drives me. In short, it’s a sense of the ultimate
beauty of the world. Each time I take a note of it I freeze in awe and then
look for a suitable way to share my visions with others. My paintings are
made in a brief, decorative manner. They are quick sketches, rather than
the thorough and detailed masterpieces of old time. There are some reasons
for that. While loving classical art I intend my works for modern homes
with their often high-tech, office-like interiors. And thus I deliberately
simplify shapes, use intensive colors, and abstract, flowing backgrounds.
In my artwork I rely heavily on three basic elements – light, space
and color. This mighty trio makes painting different from any other colored
surface for example a piece of wallpaper.
